Roslyn has served in Girls’ Brigade for over 10 years and has previously been part of the leadership team at a regional and state level in Queensland. Roslyn has a passion to empower women through Girls’ Brigade Australia to positively influence their lives and see them grow into healthy, strong women of Christ.
“I started Girls Brigade in 2005 in Brisbane as a prep leader and now help lead the seniors group. I love seeing the young ladies trying new things like kayaking and cooking scones (one of the favourites :). I love learning more about where Brigade has come from and how each piece fits into the bigger picture. It is exciting to be part of the vision of Brigade in action!
I will give anything a go and love to spend time 4wding with my Husband, playing soccer, cooking and playing with our cat Pretzel.”
Roslyn’s day to day work is to improve the health of workers in Queensland workplaces by creating physical work environments and business systems. She works closely with health and safety professionals and understand the importance of having a safe and healthy environment for all employees and visitors. She enjoys thinking strategically and brings a wealth of knowledge of project planning, evaluation and creative thinking!
As well as being a strategic thinking, Roslyn brings an a sense of humour and an whole lot of energy to the board and GBA.
