Our girls have arrived safe and well in Ghana. So far they have had the opening ceremony where they were urged to be salt and light throughout the world. We are 10 hours ahead of Ghana here in Sydney and so they will be heading for bed after a PJ party this evening. While we were sleeping The Gathering had the first of their ADVOCACY sessions discussing issues which affect young people the world over. They are explored the question: How can ordinary women do extraordinary things to advocate for those who experience difficult issues? Let’s join them in praying that GB may find a way to influence those affected. Tomorrow they will be looking at what fruits GB grows and meeting the International President. It is a very full week for everyone attending. Pray for them as they discuss not only GB but also our impact on the world. Pray for their safety as they travel to do some sight-seeing on Wednesday. Pray for transformed lives that will go back to their home countries to enrich God’s world.
